WHO WE ARE

           The Idaho Couples Golf Association exists as a social organization for men and women playing golf in the Chapman Format.  We believe that our system offers the fairest competitive system known.  The couple is a team and only ICGA tournament scores, after 5 initial tournaments played, are used as a basis for establishing the team handicap.  Scores from each tournament are put into a database and a computer program is used to calculate the ICGA handicap for future events. 

           We have fun and look forward to each tournament to see friends and play golf.  We like playing different courses around Idaho, Northern Utah, Eastern Oregon and Northern Nevada. 

Most tournaments include a social hour and cook out.  Many of our members take motor homes or trailers and stay at or near the course so that friends can come by before and after playing to socialize.
